Security Training Center is proud to offer Taser Training. In this course you will be trained on the Taser X2 which is carried by law enforcement and security personnel throughout the country. This combined 4 hour course consists of hands on instruction of the AXON Taser, written test, and live fire of the taser. Upon completion, you will receive a training certificate valid for 2 years. If you choose security as a career, make yourself more employable by training in less lethal weapons. Classes have limited space, register online, or call today! Note: You must be at minimum certified as an unarmed security officer and possess a valid FOID card to register for this class. **Important – Classes have a minimum of 10 students. FEES: Day Class: $95 – includes range time, target, and ammunition. NOTE: The class fee does not include the fee for renewing your concealed carry license with the Illinois State Police. Students are responsible for applying for his/her renewal after successful completion of the refresher class and range requalification. Day Classes Thursdays: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Range every Friday: 5:00 pm Weekend Classes Saturday/Sunday of the month, from 9am – 1pm. Range qualification will take place immediately after the class.
